Q: Storage heaters not working - What should I do?

There are two main reasons why your storage heaters may have stopped working. Either the thermostat is no longer working or, the heating element has blown. You may be able to fix these yourself bearing in mind you feel confident enough to open the front panel and know how to reset the heaters. Q: How do storage heaters work?

A standard storage heater stores up electricity at night which is then released gradually throughout the following day. Storage heaters are generally mounted to a wall with their own controls so you can choose to switch them on and off individually.
